Organization & Leader Transformation Services

  • To build trust, surface tensions, nurture compassion and understanding, and support reconnection, repair, cohesion, and resilience. These experiences include a mix of skills, practices, and activities that cultivate our capacity to stay present with ourselves, engage others, and speak directly and truthfully while maintaining loving kindness, wise boundaries, humility, curiosity, and authenticity. We design these experiences to support general team building and to respond to ruptures, factioning, and silencing that have occurred related to incidents within the organization and / or in our world. We bring expertise on the topics of racism, white supremacy, dominant culture patterns within organizations, antisemitism, Christian dominance, and the relationship between antisemitism and Israel / Palestine. I facilitate solo and partner with seasoned facilitators from my networks who bring a range of different lived experiences.

  • Within teams and across organizations. For nearly 10 years, we have been designing and facilitating processes to shift our clients’ ways of seeing, knowing, being, and interacting from those that unintentionally reinforce the status quo of separation, disconnection, and unchecked patterns of oppression (“power over”) to ones that intentionally cultivate racial and all forms of equity, belonging, health, wellbeing, and solidarity across differences in social positionality and hierarchy. How can we recognize and equitably navigate power dynamics, call people in, reground ourselves in moments of stress or uncertainty, and pivot as we stay responsive to emerging needs? We use real and imagined scenarios to support our clients in applying these new principles to decision-making, supervision, team meetings and processes, project and policy design, and more. In addition to supporting full organizations, we also support leadership teams, boards of directors, and issue or content-specific teams (e.g. training teams, advancement teams). We often pair this process with coaching for key individuals as they learn to sustain these new ways of relating to themselves, each other, their work, and the world.

  • These are some of the content areas and stand-alone workshops and series that I facilitate either solo or with my partners. I work with my clients to determine length and specific content. I also often incorporate this content into retreats or longer processes.

    • Understanding and Transforming Jewish Ancestral Trauma for Jews who have been shaped by both antisemitism.

    • The Joy of Belonging, workshops to support groups seeking to develop mindful, embodied, shared stakes, and joyful approaches to opportunities and challenges. The Joy of Belonging enables us to forge greater connection across difference, tension, and conflict.

    • Foundational Training on Racial Equity, Social Justice, & Belonging.

    • Foundational Training on Understanding and Dismantling Antisemitism.

    • Introduction to Growing Liberatory Power & Relational Culture: Theory, Practice, and Application.

    • Cultivating Principles: applied learning of core “Cultivating Principles” to support mindful, connected teams.

  • We design immersive, participatory experiences that combine analytical learning, practices that integrate mind, body, heart, and spirit, and outcomes-based planning. We work with representatives from the larger group of retreat participants to co-create what’s needed – everything from creating your organization’s next racial equity, social justice and belonging work plan to developing organizational policy on how to respond to emotionally- or politically-charged issues to deepening relational, power with approaches on your teams and in your work.

  • Through conversations, interviews, group observations, and surveys, my partners and I assess the factors that promote and inhibit connection, belonging, collective health, and wellbeing. We share back and explore findings through facilitated sessions that allow people to digest, reflect on, discuss, and make meaning of the information, and to use it to strategize policies, practices, and work plans.

  • We bring our decades of experience designing and facilitating learning environments and processes that create and hold a caring container to move people toward greater effectiveness as teams. We design curriculum for in-person facilitated sessions, online facilitated sessions, and e-learnings. We provide training on content facilitation as well as how to recognize and navigate power dynamics, how we stay in relationship and how recenter ourselves in moments of stress or uncertainty, and how we pivot as we stay responsive to the group’s emerging needs. As needed and requested, we incorporate scenario-based learning and 1:1 coaching

“Diana is so beautifully relational in all that she is and does. She leads with gentle but powerful care for self and others, and nurtured our relationships with ourselves, with each other (on our team), with the earth, with the external partners we train and consult with, and with humanity.”

DIANA DVORA FALCHUK

I am moved by a vision of an interconnected, healthy, and just society.

About Diana >

My Approach

I believe we are inherently interconnected, that each and every one of us has a stake in the safety, wellbeing, and thriving of all others. We demonstrate this by bringing compassionate presence to all of what is: what supports us in achieving our goals and what gets in the way.

This requires clarity about both what we do and how we do it.

My partners and I teach our clients to examine and apply mindful, embodied, and relational frameworks, skills, and practices that strengthen our abilities to stay connected amidst conflict and tension, use both/and thinking, embrace emergence, take risks with integrity, and find alignment.

From there, we support our clients in designing strategies, structures, processes, and policies that allow these life-sustaining norms to take hold throughout their organization, its guiding documents, partnerships, and outcomes.

Through facilitated group sessions, coaching, and strategic advising development, we guide our clients in applying this approach to the full range of their work, including:

  • Creating and implementing organizational goals, strategies, policies, and procedures

  • People management and supervision

  • Managing projects, programs, and services

  • Navigating conflict

  • Giving and receiving feedback

  • Repairing when the mark has been missed
