Brokedown Palace Saturday, March 24, 7-10pm
Brokedown Palace is a one-night exhibition by Seattle artist Diana Falchuk that will feature sculptural installations, a collection of found plastic bags, and a series of collages involving the remnants and imprints of things long gone. The artist writes, "This show is inspired by the tiny relics I love to find and make, the middle class, and the unavoidable somatic self." Her past artwork can be seen at www.dianafalchuk.com where a revamped and expanded documentation of her projects - from strictly social justice work to strictly artwork and everything in-between - will be on view starting in May, 2012. |
